Customer Review: I have several of his books and they are all top notch. However, this one helped me understand how to take pictures in the Manual mode with good results and I am now in charge. There is much, much more valuable information in it. As with all his books, you will refer to it regularly until you get... more info

Customer Review: Having read several of Bryan's others books I was familiar with his style and was looking forward to another good read. As others have mentioned- if you have read Understanding Exposure (which I also highly recommend), you will find much of the same information (and even photos) throughout. This... more info
Customer Review: I am not a professional by any means and this book really broke everything down for me. I loved the equipment suggestions. Now I just have to find those extensions!!
Customer Review: As with all his books, it is chock-full of information that is easy to understand. One needs to get out there and shoot to practice what he teaches so you can see the different results. I highly recommend it. All his books have become much used reference material for me.

Customer Review: The sole purpose of this book is to fully investigate what the Bible teaches us on God's glory. It is a subject that isn't fully explored by many in the church or in books, but these men take pains to examine the doctrine of the Glory of God and share it with readers in a systematic, understandable... more info
Customer Review: Just not enough content pretty much sums it up for me. Half the book was pictures, which were supposed to emphasize the techniques, but I found many to be unappealing. The overall material explaining the author's ideas of design criteria could have been presented in about ten pages.
Customer Review: Sorry to borrow the same title as Michael Johnson, but I could easily say "ditto". To say it in my own words, I think if you changed a few of the photos and some references, this book could easily be called "Photographing Washington" or "Photographing California". In fact, if you replaced the... more info
